Ingredients:
100 g oatmeal
2 Golden apples
100 ml water
200 ml 2.5% milk
2 tbsp honey

Preparation method:
Wash apples, cut off the upper part (“cap”) and remove the pips with a teaspoon.
Add honey inside the apples and arrange them on the bottom of the sauté pan. Pour 50 ml of cold water in the sauté pan and put it on medium heat to form a water seal between the lid and the pan. Then lower the heat.
Stew apples on low heat for 10-15 min until tender. Then force them through a fine mesh strainer to make apple puree.
Mix water with milk, then bring this mixture to the boil in a 1 litre saucepan, slowly stir in oatmeal and gradually reduce the heat to low. Cook for 2 min, then cover the saucepan with a lid. Wait for the water seal to form, then switch off the heat completely, leaving oatmeal to cook for another 5-8 min like in a rustic oven.
Add stewed apple puree to the cooked oatmeal and serve.
