All the way from Ukraine – delightful new recipes!

Andrii Pidlubnyi is a Founders Platinum ABO from Kyiv, Ukraine, and he has kindly shared two of his favourite Ukrainian recipes – creamy mint pea soup with croutons and ratatouille with a Ukrainian twist – along with his iCook™ preparation tips. Learn how you can easily whip up these tasty dishes at home in no time. We’re sure they could easily become your go-to meals, even on busy weeknights! We've also included a special Ukrainian sweet treat, which is perfect for dessert or even breakfast.

Creamy mint pea soup with croutons

This comforting, hearty, vegetarian soup will have you wanting seconds. It has ingredients you’ll most likely already have in your kitchen, so there’s absolutely no need to go out to specialty food stores. Soups are also a great way to use up ingredients that are seeing the end of their days and where you can easily conceal those “yucky” vegetables your young children may not like! See how Andrii whips up this creamy soup in no time in his easy-to-follow video.

Ratatouille with a Ukrainian twist

This delicious recipe is great for warm and cool weather alike. The variety of fresh vegetables keeps it refreshing for summer. For those extra hot days, consider removing the mozzarella cheese to make it extra light. As for cooler months, definitely keep the mozzarella and team the dish with freshly baked bread – you’ll definitely be wanting extra servings! Follow Andrii’s recipe insights and see how he creates this dish in his step-by-step video.

Sweet Nalysnyky – Ukrainian crepes

These crepes are a special Amagram recommendation because they’re simply delicious! They’re a delectable treat to share with family and friends and they’re also great to make as a team. One person can flip the crepes while the other prepares the filling. Better yet, the filling is also changeable, which means you can make savoury versions with mincemeat, herbed eggs, mushrooms or cabbage – there’s a whole variety of options! However, as we all love a good sweet treat, the berry sauce and sweet cottage cheese filling makes for a delicious dessert or a tasty weekend breakfast.
